Welcome from the CEO
Thank you for your interest in working with the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA).
Hepatitis is one of the most neglected health crises of our time. Every year, 1.3 million people die of hepatitis. Yet, with medical advances, we are now at a point where eliminating viral hepatitis is a real possibility. In 2016, every country in the world signed up to meet this goal, WHA played a significant role in making that promise happen, and we intend to hold those countries to it.
Through our new strategy, we will mobilise community organisations to help raise awareness, serve communities, and advocate for hepatitis elimination. We will ensure low- and middle-income countries are not left behind. We will raise the voices of the people and communities impacted by hepatitis to the global level to generate an unstoppable momentum to reach our goal.
People are at the heart of the hepatitis movement. Our staff team brings creativity, passion and hard work to our cause and together we achieve incredible things. It’s impossible to outline everything that you could experience being part of WHA, but
one thing I can promise, you will never be bored.
I wish you luck with your application.
